Here’s just a few pix from the Make Poverty History demonstration held in Dublin last night.

The event was well attended by people of all ages with a wonderful atmosphere. The only complaint I'd have was that it was impossible to hear anything from the stage when you were not that far back, that aside it was a great success.
I didn’t take that many pictures so sorry that they don’t really capture the evening as it happened but they will give you a taster of it.

Apparantly 20,000 people turned up for the event, so thats not too bad for a thursday evening!
The pics give a good flavour. Nice to see them.
I hope that there is truly a conscience shift as a result of these demonstrations and people coming together in unity. I'm hopeful :-)
