Always carry your camera - 365
ONCE again I am going to throw my own rules out the window and post two pics for my 365. You just never know what you are going to see, always carry your camera.
The first photograph was taken this morning as I walked to the bus stop going to work and spotted a tiny little doll on the pavement. I would have loved to have had more time to have a bit of fun with it, something like propping it up waiting on the bus or the like. But like most of us my morning is pretty regimental leaving little time for anything other than getting up and getting out.
So by the time Ryan Tubridy plays his first track of the morning I need to be out the door to get my bus which runs hourly and leaves me outside work in 15 to 20 mins. Unfortunately this is the only bus route that Dublin Bus has decided to cut completely in its recent announcement of cuts. I know I know I am digressing massively here so I'll post about that again.
And sorry to digress even more but that also reminds me of when I younger and being grounded was a cruel and dire punishment and we would go to the Plaza in Belfast on Saturday night. If I was still there when they played Bryan Ferry's 'Let Stick Together' I knew I was screwed as it was played at 12.15am practically on the dot and that meant that not only would I never make it home in time for my 12.30am deadline but the Black Taxis were finished for the night and I would have to wait for the odd straggler taxi making me even later.
So the original point, ahem, was that I didn't have time to mess about with something more than taking this pic, but I like it.
The next photograph was taken as I walked to get my bus home after work. And it is 'How much is that doggie in the window'. Anyways point of the post, carry your camera and sorry for rambling.

The title of this post made me smile. My father, back in the days before digital, always said this. Take lots of pictures and always carry a camera. Wise words indeed.
