the times and perils of a single mum
"Redmum is a sharp, funny and well-observed slice-of-life blog...
Worth a read for its almost Hornby-esque prose and sensibility that's either unintentionally hilarious or by a future full-time author."

My God, what time do you go to work at? The bus is empty - no rush hour traffic for you!
I've never got that no feet on seat thing. I don't have a problem if the shoes aren't dirty and there's space for other people.
Also like the shadow pic.
@isadub LOL since I moved I have discovered that some areas are really well served by Dublin Bus. In the last place I lived there were no bus lanes at all and lots of bottlenecks. So even though it was the same distance from town it was a long journey.
This new place is fantastic to get into town, 5-10 mins. On top of that I discovered there is a bus that runs practically door to door workwise and it runs just once an hour. So I think thats why it is never full.
It takes a little longer than the other buses at a 15mins! Hardly a complaint :)
@redwinegums I have spent so much time on buses I feel like I am a shareholder therefore I have a divine right to try to be a little comfortable. Of course people come before feet!
can't believe the feet are on the seat !!!!!!1
oi I had to tell a guy off for putting his feet on my restaurant seats last night.....oh it's a bus? carry on.......
Ah, you remind me of my teenage feet on the seat - boots and purple dungarees, those were the days :)
