What on earth were the teachers at Scales Elementary thinking?

Jesus, none of the teachers at Scales Elementary School in Tennesse must have children, otherwise why would they think it appropriate or indeed right to organise a drill on what they would do if someone armed attacked the school. One thing that also strikes me is that when you organise a fire drill, well anywhere I have been to school or work, you don't tell people its real, you don't try to put the fear of God into them to see how they will react.

Those teachers and whoever devised such a outrageous drill should be ashamed of themselves. If it was my child I would certainly take this further. They should not be allowed to be in charge of children.
