I saw you on Capital D this evening and recognised you immediately. You used to come in to the Bank where I used to work on O Connell Street, I can't believe your daughter is 15 but then again it was 12 years ago that I met you with her first. Anyway just wanted to say I had seen you and have enjoyed reading your blog. I will come back.

Hi Red Mum,

I'm the 'man of the cloth'. Hope the broadcast turned out well. I didn't see it - my seven year old car sat down on me, as Fainthearted as its owner. Love your photos - have you a gallery on Pbase.

fecksies (to totally rip off una's turn of phrase). i sat down in front of the tv for the first time in MONTHS and coincidentally flicked onto 'Capital D' just as it ended. will have to check out the online version (as soon as i'm sitting in front of a computer that will allow it)

well done red mum, grandad and ian - really enjoyed the program. my mother rang me just before and said "theres something on RTV1 about that blog thing you do!" which i took to mean that there was a feature on RTE1 (RTV ?) about the irish blogosphere ... carry on blogging

You looked and sounded fantastic! Delighted to see you didn't put on a telly persona and let the pj wearers have it, good for you!

Found it at last - well done, excellent piece. A whole new world of teenage psychological warfare.

Sorry to rain on your parade lads. But did you know that Google owns copyright to all works published on the net! You agreed to this as payment for them hosting your work and giving you a platform.
But do keep up the good work.
Did you see the window display in Switzers. Go take a look treat yourselves.

It was the best piece on blogging in the Irish Mainstream Media ever. Nuff said... (And as I now live in the heart of PJ land feel free to come over for coffee any time RM!)

Congratu;ations Red Mum, that was a lovely piece on Capital D and great to see a considered piece on the bloggers as distinct from the blogs!

I just saw the Capital D thing. Well done, you came across really well. Power to you.

Wow thats a wonderful reaction to the programme, hopefully that means I didn't come across as a bit strange :) I did say hopefully.

Thanks everyone for the kind and mucg appreciated words. I was nervous about it but I had fun doing it, thought nervous (what a surprise) and was surprisingly happy with some of the shots I got on the day, some of which they showed.

Mark @Help, I'll have a look and come back to you.

Cliona - well hello there, delighted you stopped by. Course I remember yourself, I annoyed you enough times when I opened my account. If you seen herself you'd have a mini heart attack, she's a wee woman now.

Ian Poulton thanks for stopping by I enjoyed your part at lot. Its great to see all the varying people who enjoy blogging.

Flirty, feel free to link :). I will also be updating mine after the blog awards, I found so many great sites I didn't know.

Oh and regarding the teenage warfare, by any means necessary!

Maman Poulet: I'd be scared now - I'm afraid I might get clobbered with a fluffy slipper! I think I'll be going out taking pics with a hat on in future.

Thanks again everyone, I'm delighted with the comments.

I totally missed it on tv, after all that! But saw it on the Net with the link there. Excellent stuff, it looked really really good! Fair play to you, though you should have let the Young Wan be in it you know....you're stealing her limelight!!
