Happy St Patrick's Day

THE St Patrick's Day parade was great craic, cold of course, windy as well, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the hundreds of thousands of people who lined the streets to watch the parade.

I watched it at the beginning at Parnell Square and took some pics. You can see them on Flickr. Well done to everyone involved for making it a great day.

You captured some lovely colours and energy. I think I miss Dublin most on Paddy's Day.

What wonderful scenes, you just brought a huge smile to my face. Although being IN the parade in Carrick on Shannon was a huge buzz for me and my 5 year old daughter, we really must make the pilgrimage to see the Dublin parade next year. I have fond memories of it from my children ... freezing feet on O Connell Street, the music, high spirits and the colour.
